Creche Roster - Semester 1 2025

Help mind a small number of children in our well-equipped creche, while their parents enjoy two wonderful hours pursuing their own interests at the Centre.

Semester 1 2025 is a trial of volunteers running the creche (no paid staff as in recent years).  Two members have arranged to share the sixteen weeks between them and now need another person each week to join them, so that there are always two minders on duty.

During this trial period, the creche may be used only by members who had their children enrolled in 2024.  This ensures that there is only a small number of children in the creche, with both mothers and children being familiar with the environment.  The likely number of children attending is between one and four (probably aged 1 – 4).  The happy addition of an eight-week-old baby is expected in Term 2.

Volunteers will not change nappies or assist with toileting – mothers will be called from their classes to attend to these matters.

Starting time for volunteers is 9.00 AM.  Children may be dropped off from 9.30 AM.  Finish time for volunteers is when all children have been collected – which must be done by 12.00 noon.

Your participation in this workgroup will be much appreciated. Please enter your name for two dates which suit you below - or more than two if you like!  The reserve list is to enable a replacement to be found quickly, if anyone is unfortunately unable to come on their rostered day due to illness, family crisis etc.
