1 review for Tai Chi Beginners – Tuesday – Semester 2

Over the years Kalamunda area has been fortunate to have an exceptional Tai Chi Community run by Mike and Ranee Jefferson. Tai Chi is a “Chinese Martial Art”, consisting of sequences with very slow controlled movements.

The Kalamunda Community Learning Centre has a strong Tai Chi following where classes are welcoming and encouraging. The venue has an idyllic view out through the treetops where different native birds can be seen.
Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for beginners (Tues only) and advanced students.

There are numerous health benefits to Tai Chi practice including balance & co-ordination, increased flexibility & strength, joint & respiratory health. As Mike says, “It takes effort to make it look effortless”.
