Watercolour For Beginners – Master Class

What is a Master Class? These are short courses (half, one or two days) conducted by accomplished artists during our semester break. The artists are paid at a professional rate with the course fee covering this plus other expenses.
Description: This two-day master class is designed to provide absolute beginners in watercolour with a knowledge of materials and a variety of techniques to achieve a satisfactory level of skill in the art of landscape painting. Individual guidance and demonstrations will be given. It is necessary for students to have a reasonable level of drawing ability. Those enrolling must be able to commit to attending both sessions.

Dates: Monday 7th and Thursday 10th July 2025
Time: 9.30 am – 2.45 pm
Participants: minimum 10, maximum 15
Morning and Afternoon Teas provided
Lunch: BYO
Cost: TBA. The approximate cost at this point is $114 for the two days, based on the minimum number of 10 enrolling. If we can establish that we are likely to have more than the minimum number, we will be able to reduce the course fee.

This Master Class is not yet open for registration. To express your interest in enrolling please register on the waitlist. By doing this you are not committing to enrol nor are you guaranteed a place in the course. Once enrolments become available on the 26th of May you will be notified, and you will need to enrol yourself online by the 16th of June. If we have not received enough enrolments by 9 am on the 16th of June, the Master Class will be cancelled and those who have enrolled will be contacted and refunded.
