Casual enrolments are accepted as are late enrolments from members transferring from other classes. No beginners – beginners must enrol in the Beginners’ course held at the same time as this Continuing class.

Description: For advanced and recent graduates. This class serves to strengthen our Tai Chi/Qigong skills by refining the basics. Continuing students will assist beginners by performing at a higher level during the class. Preference is given to new Graduates.
Requirements: Participants must have completed the KCLC Beginners’ class. Members are encouraged to wear our Tai Chi ‘uniform’.

Tai Chi is for life.
Over the years Kalamunda area has been fortunate to have an exceptional Tai Chi Community run by Mike and Ranee Jefferson.
Tai Chi is a “Chinese Martial Art”, consisting of sequences with very slow controlled movements.
The Kalamunda Community Learning Centre has a strong Tai Chi following where classes are welcoming and encouraging. The venue has an idyllic view out through the tree tops where different native birds can be seen.
Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for beginners and advanced students.
There are numerous health benefits to Tai Chi practice including, balance & co-ordination, increased flexibility & strength, joint & respiratory health.
As Mike says “It takes effort to make it look effortless”.
Tai Chi movements are gentle and only done to your personal capabilities so complete beginners and experienced people are welcome.
