Description

Through practical guidance, parents will learn how to create a nurturing environment where children feel heard, valued, and supported. Ultimately, positive parenting aims to strengthen the parent-child relationship, build trust, and equip families with the skills to navigate challenges together in a constructive and loving way. The course is appropriate for parents/carers of babies to teens.

Introducing the tutor, Kathrine Morisco: I am a deeply passionate mother and grandmother who believes that parenting is the most undervalued role in the world. For over a decade I have provided in-home support and delivered workshops to hundreds of families.
My experience has only strengthened my belief that with the right knowledge and support, we can parent consciously and give our children the strongest foundations for a meaningful life.
As parents, we have the profound opportunity to be the mirror that reflects the values, behaviours and love we want to pass on to our children.

Kathrine has a degree in Family Studies from Curtin School of Social Work and her specialty is teaching parenting.
