Plate Tectonics (term 3) – Semester 2

$25.00

Description: Almost everyone around the word has heard of Plate Tectonics, with its explanations for Continental Drift, the location of earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis, mountain ranges and ocean deeps. Fifty years ago this was almost completely unknown outside of some very specialised research groups in a few Universities around the world. Where, how and when did all these new understandings come about? What do they mean to life on Earth today? This short course will try to explain everything you always wanted to know about Plate Tectonics, but were too afraid to ask!!
