    Everyone loves a Mystery!
Currently in our Patchwork class, our esteemed Tutor, Prue, has us making a “Mystery” quilt. We are given information, a bit at a time as we are ready, and we don’t know what the pattern will look like at the end. When we have all finished, we will have a “Grand Viewing” to see how our chosen fabrics have turned out! It will be an exciting finish.
We, the members of our group, greatly appreciate the dedication of our Tutor, Prue Linge. In her absence while on holiday, she was ably supported by Tracey Radford. Also we would wish to express our thanks for all the work the Coordinators and support people do so we can enjoy being members of the Kalamunda Community Learning Centre. Thank you to all!

If you walk near the Patch Work class on Thursday mornings you are likely to hear machines humming, various woman’s voices and the odd burst of laughter.
This group of ladies, many of whom have been attending for years, enjoy catching up and discussing family, issues and events as they produce their masterpieces in a very supportive environment. Everyone is happy to share ideas and tips, especially those related to patchwork. The class is under the guidance of tutor Linda. Linda is always ready to help solve any problem encountered in our sewing endeavours and is always encouraging.

In the occasional “show and tell sessions”, often ideas are gained for future projects whilst suggestions may be sought and given to enhance projects. We all tend to be inspired looking at other’s finished work.
