If you need a brain stress break, then this group is the way to go.
As my family is not free or interested to play board games anymore, I joined with open mind on what to expect. With the 3 men I joined in the game Trickster Scrabble, which I have never played, they were kind and patient to explain as we played the 1st game, I caught on and loved it. Then their competitive side came out for the 2nd game, though still happy to explain if I really didn’t get something, but all bets were off! I learnt much more as their competitive side came out!
They were helpful with hints and tips for all new games to me, and always for the 1st, 2nd games. Once I got the hang of each game. I was no longer treated with kid gloves, unless I did something glaring obvious and they were able to explain to me.
I so thoroughly enjoyed my 1st semester, even though I still have work/ committments, I intend to keep taking Monday afternoons off to join this group. We always play games to suit our numbers as sometimes there’s 5 of us, and works out great. The more the merrier and laughs too!
I’ve actually bought some of these games s/h to play with family at home.
For those who are unsure, even parents with school pickups, though they sometimes do start earlier (though not me) it always finishes no later than 2.45pm sharp and even earlier, so people don’t need to worry about delays in the afternoon.
Parking is accessible and plentiful, and a nice, clean and light filled room to ‘play’ in!
    See you semester 2!
