Description: Spend a pleasant evening every 3 weeks to chew over the book we’ve just read. A book levy is included in the course cost. We also share nibbles/supper provided on a rostered basis and members are welcome to bring wine if they wish. Please come into the KCLC office to collect your first book. This needs to be read prior to attending your first session.

Book Club 5 meets every third Tuesday evening under the expert tutelage of Jenny Carrick who helps choose a wonderful variety of books for us to read. With wine and fine food, we are never short of good discussions even if we often leave the topic in favour of solving the problems of the world.
Whereas some of us (especially me) can’t remember books from just a couple of months ago, Jenny can recall books from over 40 years of Book Club. She is our amazing repository of book knowledge and wisdom and one we are all grateful for.
It is such fun to hear all the varying opinions of the current books. The input from the two gentlemen in our group makes sure we get their varying perspectives. Life wouldn’t be the same without the chance to attend Book Club 5.
