Writing Poetry for Beginners – Semester 1

$30.00$80.00

Description: Writing poetry is not for experts. It is for everyone who feels deeply about something or someone. Rhyme is optional these days. This is a course for those who love poetry and would like to explore and develop their own poetic voice. The only requirement for this course is a willingness to “give it a go” and to write something to be shared with the group. We will expect complete confidentiality of members of the class and the capacity to respond gently and honestly to the work of others. Classes develop a real bond as they listen to one another’s work and respond from the heart. It is great fun!
Requirements: Notebook and pencil. Open mind.
