Pottery Workshop: Wednesday Evening – Semester 1

Description: This workshop is primarily for continuing class members to enable them to further develop their skills. We might be able to accommodate some beginners if all the continuing places are not filled. Please see Further Details for full description.  
Requirements: As there are limited places available in this very popular course, please do not enrol unless you can commit to attending every session, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Description

Continuing class members – we welcome students from previous years or with prior experience to return to use the studio for your own projects. Select the Continuing Class Member option above.
Beginners will be shown the pottery basics of hand building and supported to create items of your choosing. As the early weeks progress, glazing and decorating techniques will be shown. Please select the Beginning Class Member option above or if no places are available, register on the waitlist and you will be advised by the Friday of enrolment week if a place has become available for you.

The fee includes a $20 levy for the use of the Centre resources. There will be a small additional fee for firing.

Requirements: Enclosed shoes must be worn. See also Work Health and Safety information below.
Recommended additions to your pottery tool kit: (a basics tool kit is available to purchase on your first session for $10 cash, clay is also available to purchase; paper clay and white $24 and buff $26)
