Introducing the tutor: Janelle Macgregor – Calligraphy Tutor since Semester 2, 2016.
Monday mornings with my fabulous class is a great way to start the week – I’m excited to see their finished pieces and new ideas they bring to Show and Tell. (NB this course has now moved to Tuesday mornings.)
I took up Calligraphy in 2011 and first came to the Centre in 2013, to Truda Austen’s class. Last century, I was a secondary school Art teacher, interested in Art History and Design. My calligraphy passion is medieval manuscripts and illuminations. I love colour in calligraphy, and my quilting hobby is another way of playing with colour and pattern and design.
