Workgroup Volunteering

A vital aspect of the smooth running of Kalamunda Community Learning Centre is the commitment by all members to volunteer in some way at the Centre. Our members choose their volunteer task within a Workgroup according to their interests – we only ask that you turn up with a smile! Exemptions are given to members in ill health. By the way, old age is not regarded as ill health – our oldest volunteer is well over 90!

Reception Desk Back-Up Semester 1 2021

DETAILS:

Be available for relief at the Reception Desk. You will be called on when needed. This task involves answering the phone, taking payments for casual members and issuing Casual Tickets, receipting other payments, balancing money (afternoon shift) and other general duties as requested by Duty Coordinator. (It is preferable for you to be confident in using a computer and have had at least one session sitting in with and assisting one of our regular reception desk volunteers.) The morning sessions are 9.15am - 12noon, the afternoon sessions 12.15pm - 3.00pm. On the bottom of the 'Sign Me Up' page please indicate any other days and times (AM or PM) you may be available.
