Our small band of brilliant creators continue to make fun and fantasy pieces – 3D animals, birds, figures, “what -is-it” and decorative objects for garden and home.

Our materials include rusty tools, nuts and bolts, wire, found bits and bobs, wood (bush, driftwood, off-cuts), bush nuts and pods, old books, recycled kitchenalia and variety of fibres.

We use and share our own tools and learn new tool skills and techniques along the way during our Monday morning session.

Some strange objects enter the Craft room on Monday mornings. We continue to make fun and fantasy pieces such as 3D animals, birds, figures, “What -is-it” and decorative objects for garden and home from recycled items.

We use rusty tools, nuts and bolts, wire, found bits and bobs, wood (bush, driftwood, off-cuts), bush nuts and pods, old books, unwanted shoes, old kitchen items and variety of fibres.

By answering the challenge to re-purpose discarded objects, we learn new tool skills and techniques, and test our cognitive thinking skills.

We are always happy to have visitors at our Monday morning session, and welcome new members to join our creative team to accept the wonderful and often bizarre challenges our coordinator, Fran Bolland assigns to us.
