Description: In this course we will be using a number of different patchwork techniques to create and complete a number of small projects which could be useful as Christmas gifts. These include a hand towel decorated with seminole, a table runner, a doll’s carry bed, a foundation pieced mug rug, and a scrappy bag. You are welcome to do as many or as few of these as you wish and can work on projects of your choice. Beginners to patchwork are welcome.
Requirements: Sewing Machine and the usual sewing requirements (all plugged in appliances must be tested and tagged). Fabric as required. The first project will be the scrappy bag. You will need one metre of strong accent colour or half a metre of the accent colour and half a metre of homespun for the lining. Scraps will be freely available.
