Description: Alfred Hitchcock read Sigmund Freud in the 1920s. Through film, he introduced the world to the concept of the human psyche. Oedipal complex, morbid fears, deadly fixations, and sexuality were not simple literary devices, rather Id, Ego, and Super-ego were conveyed by film into a literature of sound and light.

Introducing the tutor, Greg Schofield: Left school to become an air-conditioning apprentice, who by luck, rather than planning, went to university. Studied archaeology, anthropology, history, and philosophy; became a nurse, a bus driver, a medical research assistant, a typesetter, an illustrator, a high school teacher, and finally a native title researcher and met a lot of very interesting people along the way.
